I like the story, I would even go as far as to say that I find it interesting/engaging, but then again I am sucker for sci-fi so it's difficult to disappoint to me! My only real gripe is that this is a recent game, and it seems updates aren't too frequent, but then again that isn't surprising how long it must take to render each frame! One of the big draws are the animations, they are really, really nice, very smooth and most importantly very high quality (actually surprised it looked that good). It is clear that a lot of time and effort has been placed developing the models. Thoughts: The first thing that sticks out is the incredible renders made. High Level: This is one of the best games I've played in a while! Plus, it has a great direction to grow in! If not for the (currently) short story introduction, then for the few fap'able scenes available. Considering the playtime available atm. If the Devs return to this project and keep up the Quality story and graphics-wise -> Then I cannot wait to continue this journey with them. At least effort has been made to make it look original and "lived in". And much of it appears to be custom made. The care and attention to detail regarding the environment/ backgrounds, are unlike anything I have seen in a loong while. Does not detract from the overall emersion, among other things, due to the dialogue and environmental/background rendition and details. No wonder they, for now, have decided to stick to a core selection. Especially when you look at the customized details of each character's outfit. I'll chalk that down to a conscious choice from the Devs side. There is no variation in the way the characters dress. The renditions made to support and/or enhance the Game/VN experience, are way above average.Ĭharacters may show less range when it comes to expressions/emotions, as far as I can tell. In context of the settings in which it all plays out and the general 'plot', the delivery and progression seems natural. Nor is it unnecessarily elaborate or convoluted. As long as some sense of purpose and in-game guidance is offered. Matters less to me, that it's goes from linear VN to Sand-box. (even to some extend an emotional anchor) Yet manages to present an anchor in terms of backstory. It kinda cuts to the chase in a no-nonsense way. Shows promise of future intrigues and possibilities, not least regarding general expansion of the story. Overall, I think Stars Of Salvation delivers. That the Genre is Sci-Fi matters less to me, as long as the Story/Plot and Visual Quality is decent, and does not display tendencies I find less 'interesting' (and I ain't 'Vanilla' in any way). For the current duration and iteration it at least deserves 4/5. Go ahead, spring for the marble or steal a layout-it'll be a great starting point for any renovation you're planning. It worked on a variety of requests I tried, but I haven’t really tried to make this into a product. and the relevant code is in: ria/db.ts at main drorm/ria GitHub. My question uses template tags, in this case its named municipio. The prompt is quite simple: ria/pagila2 at main drorm/ria GitHub. Unfortunately, in my case the problem is not really wrong name of parameters. However, the main screen’s angle is limited to about 145 degrees, and I much prefer a 180-degree display on a portable laptop. Asus should find a way to address this aspect and make sure this won’t come loose over time. Not sure how this thing will age if used every day though, especially since it doesn’t seem to perfectly attach to the laptop’s metal back, with the thinner adhesive part at the top already starting to peel off from day one. I didn’t give this any chance at first, but it’s actually useful and pushes up the second screen in a way that makes it far more usable and easier to read. All in all, though, the experience is a significant step-up from the previous generation and is further helped by the fact that Asus put a much brighter second panel on this 2021 model, which also compensates somewhat for the steep viewing angle.įurthermore, Asus also includes a weird kickstand that you can stick to the bottom of this laptop and can further push it up, as you can see in the following pictures. As a result, you’ll still have to pull yourself over the laptop to be able to properly read the content on this second screen, especially with fine details and small texts. The thermal system still blows the hot air into the main display, though, something we’ll talk about in a later section.Įven with this implementation, you’ll still end up looking at the second screen from a sharp low angle, which still causes contrast and brightness shifts. This is an improvement in two important ways: it slightly angles the screen towards you, making the information displayed easier to tell apart, and also allows Asus to draw fresh air into the thermal module from underneath this screen, and less so from the bottom, which results in improved airflow and temperatures/noise-levels. The major change from the previous ZenBook Duo generation is the fact that the secondary screen now lifts-up slightly when you open this laptop, the same kind of mechanical implementation first experienced in the A sus ROG Zephyrus Duo. And here are my thoughts on the updated 2023 ZenBook Pro Duo and ZenBook Pro 14 lineups. Update: In the meantime, our review of the updated ZenBook Pro Duo 14 OLED is also available here. For example, this is thicker and heavier than the average 14-inch ultrabook with similar specs, and is also rather unpractical when not used on a desk, due to the keyboard and clickpad being tucked under the second screen.Īt the same time, this ZenBook Duo gets you two touchscreens with finger/pen support and is a competent implementation of Intel’s Tiger Lake 11th gen hardware, with optional Nvidia MX450 graphics, up to 32 GB of RAM, and a 70Wh battery, larger than what you’ll mostly get in a 14-inch chassis. Much like before, this is all about whether you must have a dual-screen laptop or not, because it still makes a couple of compromises to deliver this sort of experience in a 14-inch chassis. This is not Asus’s first take at a dual-screen compact notebook, I’ve also reviewed the previous generation and wasn’t that fond of it, so I was eager to see how this 2021 model improved. We’ve spent the last few weeks with a retail model, identical to the ones available in stores, and gathered our thoughts and impressions in this following article. This article is all about the latter, the ZenBook Duo 14 UX482. Lucy and Wyatt clash over changing or saving history. Lucy reluctantly joins, travelling back, with soldier Wyatt Logan and pilot Rufus Carlin in the Lifeboat, to 1937 on the day of the Hindenburg disaster. There, she finds out that she's been chosen to help recover a time machine, the Mothership, stolen by Garcia Flynn. That same night, Lucy is brought by Homeland Security to Mason Industries. She goes home and vents to her sister, Amy, while checking on her mother, Carol, who is bed-ridden from terminal lung cancer. Lucy is upset when she's denied tenure, desperate to carry on her mother's legacy at the university. Her biological father is later revealed to be Benjamin Cahill, also a member of Rittenhouse.Īfter Carol and Emma save soldier Nicholas Keynes during WWI, Keynes is revealed by Carol to be Lucy’s maternal great-grandfather. This is revealed when her sister Amy is erased from history due to Henry and Lucy's mother Carol never meeting in the new alternate timeline. Later, however, Lucy discovers that Henry wasn't her biological father. Lucy's father, Henry Wallace, is mentioned several times in the show, but never appears. Carol later reveals to Lucy that she works for Rittenhouse. However, after Lucy, Wyatt Logan, and Rufus Carlin make significant changes in their first mission (saving the Hindenburg), Lucy comes home to discover that her mother is healthy and alive. She is erased from Lucy's timeline due to consequences from Lucy's first time travel mission.Ĭarol Preston, Lucy's mother, first appears sick with lung cancer in the "Pilot" due to smoking. Lucy has a sister named Amy Preston, who is 7 years younger than her. She thinks of herself as a nerdy person, as she skipped her high school prom to go to a speaking and debating tournament and holds no regrets over the decision. Lucy Preston is a genius professor of history and anthropology of American political movements at Stanford University.

Wellness programs for faculty and staff can also be integral to improving the school environment, not only serving to boost faculty and staff health but also building school-wide enthusiasm for student-focused programs.Īdditionally, schools can serve as important data sources on student health. To improve activity, schools can develop safe walking and biking routes to school, and can promote active recess time. To improve nutrition, schools can include healthier food offerings in the cafeteria and eliminate marketing of unhealthy foods. Schools can also promote health outside of the classroom, by surrounding students with opportunities to eat healthy and stay active. In addition to teaching evidence-based nutrition and activity messages, school physical education should focus on getting students engaged in high-quality and regular activity. Nutrition and physical activity lessons can be woven into the curriculum-in core classroom subjects, physical education, and after-school programs-to teach skills that help students choose and maintain healthy lifestyles. One of the main avenues that schools can use to positively affect health is also one most directly in line with every school’s mission: educating students.
This might not be clear yet but keep on reading! Each product will then have a value for the name attribute (and all other attributes). Each product entity will have a series of attributes, one of them is the name attribute. For better understanding, let’s consider the product entity. Value: The value is the simplest to understand as it is simply a value linked to an attribute. For example, the product entity has attributes such as name, price, status and many more. Attribute: The attributes represent data items that belong to an entity. Each entity (product, category, etc.) will have its own entity record in the database. Entity: The entity represents Magento data items such as products, categories, customers and orders.Let’s look into each part and try to understand them a little better. In Magento, EAV stands for Entity, Attribute and Value. However, in many cases where data can be modelled in statically relational terms an EAV based approach is an anti-pattern which can lead to longer development times, poor use of database resources and more complex queries when compared to a relationally-modelled data schema. There are certain cases where an EAV schematic is an optimal approach to data modelling for a problem domain. EAV is also known as object–attribute–value model, vertical database model and open schema. In mathematics, this model is known as a sparse matrix. In common sense, Entity Attribute Value model is a data model to describe entities where the number of attributes (properties and parameters) which can be used to describe them are potentially vast, but the number of attributes which will actually apply to a given entity are relatively modest. Working with collections and EAV collections in Magentoġ.Lesson 19 will cover three sections and last for three hours: Now, to keep on our Magento tutorial series, we will discover Entity Attribute Value (EAV) in Magento. Last week, we took a look into Magento tutorial 18 – how to override core files in Magento and learned overriding principle in Magento as well as overriding model class, helper class and resource model in Magento. |
